WOODINVILLE WHISKEY INTRODUCES UPDATED BOTTLE DESIGN

Woodinville, WA — Woodinville Whiskey is releasing an updated and refreshed bottle design at retailers this week and online March 3.

“The Woodinville bottle has been iconic for over a decade and has represented the true craft and passion that we put into every bottle. But as we evolve into older whiskies and exciting new releases, we felt it was time to evolve our package to match the distinguished products within them, and this striking bottle delivers,” says Woodinville co-founder Orlin Sorensen.

Woodinville’s updated bottle pays homage to the traditional shape that has become synonymous with Woodinville but has been refined to reflect the ultra-premium liquid they produce. The bottle features two different textures of glass, the clear and refined upper part representing the purity and terroir of Woodinville where the whiskey is distilled, and the rugged lower half representing the dramatic climates of Quincy where the whiskey is matured. All four flagship whiskeys feature the fresh look and will also feature an updated 6 year age statement on the bottle. The whiskeys are: Woodinville Straight Bourbon Aged 6 Years (90 proof $39.99 MSRP), Woodinville Straight 100% Rye Aged 6 Years (90 proof $39.99 MSRP), Woodinville Port Finish Bourbon (90 proof $44.99 MSRP), and Woodinville Applewood Finish Bourbon (90 proof $44.99 MSRP).

Woodinville (woodinvillewhiskeyco.com) is a craft distillery built on belief— belief in craft, in place, and in possibility that the best days for whiskey drinkers are still yet to come. It was founded in 2010 by two best friends, Brett Carlile and Orlin Sorensen, who were raised in a valley filled with wineries where wild yeast fills the air. They were guided by one of the greatest master distillers who ever lived, David Pickerell, and use grains grown by a single 4th generation farm family, the Omlins. They craft the whiskey in Woodinville, WA and then truck the spirits 170 miles back over the Cascade mountains to that same farm to age in custom-coopered barrels. The semi-arid climate in Quincy, WA is perfect for maturing whiskey.

Woodinville is Washington state's largest craft distillery, and Forbes reported that Woodinville Whiskey “may just be the best craft whiskey in America.” The distillery and tasting room in Woodinville is home to exclusive launches like the annual Harvest Release. In 2026 Woodinville will release its first 10-Year Bourbon, following the releases of an 8 Year in 2024 and a 9 Year in 2025. Scheduled in advance, private distiller-led tours are available at the distillery in Woodinville which is open daily. Starting this spring, private tours will be held at their Quincy bottling and aging facility.
