Woodinville Straight Bourbon Finished in Sauternes Casks has been in development for several years, inspired by a conversation Brett had with colleagues year ago. Procuring Sauternes barrels was a challenge, taking 3 years to source 5 Casks. Once the Casks arrived, Brett began what was at the time an experiment, and was pleasantly surprised every step of the way. Through regular tastings, Brett determined the optimal aging period to be around 8 months (June - February), ultimately settling on a proof of 105.

"Notes of raisins and ripe plum on the nose give way to vanilla-soaked pears and kiwi on the palate, followed by a creamy toffee finish that complements the traditional bourbon characteristics."
